Hey peep-oles and purr-sons. How are you small children? Well who am I to be calling you small children, you could be anybody! But I bet some small child will read this eventually, and I want to let you know, Small Child who I may or may not have met before, that I am thinking about you, however stalker-ish that may seem.

Anyway, that was sort of a pointless paragraph even if it was hilarious. (Not meaning to toot my own horn, but I am pretty funny if I do say so myself. And I play the French Horn. And it would be unsanitary to toot somebody else's.) Okay now I'm getting more and more off topic. I don't really remember why I wanted to post anyway. Oh yeah! Christmas time, is here. Time for some, chee-er. That's probably not the words because who would write a song that includes the word chee-er? Well, anything can happen during the holidays. And that's what I'm here to talk to you about. The holidays! Christmas! Hanukkah! New Year! Everything! What do I have to say about them? Well, I'm not sure. I actually have no idea. I was like Hmm.... I should blog! But what about? and of course the first thing that I think of is the holidays. Because how can you not think about them? Hanukkah ended yesterday, Christmas is in four days, and it's almost twenty ten! I had to write it because I wanted to make sure you knew that I'm saying twenty ten because who's gonna say two thousand ten when you can say twenty ten?

That was a long paragraph that could probably be broken up into multiple smaller ones.

That was a short paragraph and I should probably combine it with this next one. But then you would have no idea what I was talking about, right? Anyway, I really have nothing to say so bye.

Hey Peoples and Persons! I am so busy lately. And I HATE IT!!!! No, actually I'm quite fine, thank you. I just cleaned my desk last weekend, and it looks amazing. Not only did I clean it out and sort through practically everything in my room, I prettied it too. :)
So anyway, in a half-an-hour or so, I'm going over to K8 the fuzzin's house. It is my auzzin's birthday today! Anything else I could say about what I am doing right now would give away her present and K8 may be online right now. Oh, and Lisa is yelling at me.

I haven't been on here in like a month, and still nobody has commented on my latest postings. RRRRRRRRRRRGGGG. Well, anyway, I'm really mad because Raman (or however you spell his name) is out. I'm talking about Project Runway. Then on Models, they decided that all the designers had to switch models. So guess who was eliminated. FATMA! So I was really glad at first, but now there isn't going to be as much drama. I take that back.... Well, I don't know. It always seems like it's going to be really weird in the competition without the person that just left, but then it's weird because you hardly notice. So, Raman is back in Minneapolis now, probably designing awesome dresses and ugly body suits. Now about Monk. It was about VOODOO!!! It was sort of creepy, but not really. See, these people keep getting sent voodoo dolls a few days before they die. Then Natalie gets sent one with it's head cut off. But of course, her head does not fall off. It gets cut off. Ha ha ha, I'm so funny. Not really. But almost. You'll just have to watch it for yourself on Hulu. I can't help wondering why nobody's reading my blog. But I won't let it get to me. Ha ha Fatma, Logan doesn't love you!

Hey PEOPLES and PERSONS.

I was just watching Models of the Runway the show about the models on Project Runway. There is this one model, her name is Fatma. She is in love with her designer Logan. At least he was her designer for two weeks. Then someone picked her. Then when Logan could have picked her back, he didn't. The other models say it's because he feels uncomfortable around her because she loves him so much.

So this weekend we have been working on our bathroom and back hall. My dad is spackaling the bathroom and my mom is painting the back hall. It is officially blue. When it dries she's going to paint white clouds on it. It's really cool because the hallway leading to the back hall is orange so they compliment. She noticed that in her little art-teacher-ness. My cat Lisa keeps walking over and staring at my mom painting.

I told my mom I would practice piano and trumpet over Labor Day Weekend, so I have to go do that.

Theme of the Week

Hello Magical Woodland Animals That Sing!
Okay, so now I will not only have word of the week, but I will have theme of the week. This weeks theme is Magical Creatures. The word of the week and theme of the week will not be related to eachother, at least most of the time. I'm not sure if I'll be able to do theme of the week, and it might not be of the week all the time, but I'll try. I'll post and say if I don't have any ideas, and if you guys have any, please tell me. My posts won't have to do with the theme either. Hey, LOTS of Peoples and Persons!

So hey, nobody likes "sticker"? that was my second choice! (I chose "fumble".) As you might have guessed, it's going to be a word of the week at some point. If you guys want to suggest any words, you may, because there are only so many awesome words that I can think of.

So about two Fridays ago, I went to see Bandslam with K8. My mom had looked it up in the paper, and there was a 10:00 showing, so we drove to AMC and she dropped us off. Right after she left, We got to the front and asked for two tickets to Bandslam. I had been looking through the "menu" of movies, but I couldn't find it. So when we asked the woman said that they didn't have it anymore. We rushed outside but my mom had already driven away. So we called her, and asked if she could come pick us up, because there weren't any other good movies that we could go see. So as we waited we danced on this circular cement plant holder that had a radio coming out of the side. It was fun and kept us busy. So instead we went shopping, and I bought some new glasses, ones with blue frames and pink bows. (Not bows like on shoelaces, that's apparently what the things that stick out and go behind your ears are called.) So now K8 is borrowing my black ones.

PEOPLES AND PERSONS, THERE ARE MORE OF YOU THAN I THOUGHT!

I feel so loved, by all of my friends that have left comments now. I know it's only two more people, but I only re-sent my invitation email an hour or two ago, so some people probably haven't gotten it yet.

Anyway, my mom is upstairs watching her DVDs of Julia Child in The French Chef. I know they're classic and everything, and I should watch them because of the new movie (Well, that really makes no sense, but that's my only excuse to actually watch them) but their really weird. And there's really old camera work. And she's so much YOUNGER than I'd always seen her, it's weird. I personally think that it's a lot different than how they showed it in Julie and Julia. But hey, that's based on the commercials, because I've never seen it.

Advice to people that go on the internet: Try not to get addicted to different websites. Because the snowfake thing is becoming an obsession. Actually, it's slowly dying down, but that's just because I'm at home now, and there are more places for me to go. Like... Webkinz. Yes. I went to Webkinz. Even though I can explore other places. But on Webkinz, I can make pizzas!

Whoah, how often did they make The French Chef? Because now, in the fourth episode, it's in color and she's way older. I'm not watching it though. I might someday. My mom has to watch a lot tonight because she requested two DVDs, this one, and season two of Rescue Me. But she got them both today, and they're due in a week, so she's going to be watching a lot of TV this weekend because the rest of the week we have school. And this weekend we're also painting the bathroom, the back hall, and she's tiling the walls of our little shoe nook in the back hall.

Hello. Peoples. And. Persons. AKA, PigPig.

The Internet hates me. Why is the only person here PigPig? Thank you PigPig for actually showing up and leaving comments saying that this is very interesting when it is definitely is not. I sent out an email telling everyone to come! But where are they? AAAAH!!! (Sorry PigPig that I am dumping all of this on you.) I tried to send out another email re-telling people to come, but the Internet hates me. Gmail is super slow and it won't let me write anything past one line or put any contacts into the "who are you sending this to?" column.

But I'm going to act like there's more of you anyway.

PigPig is at her cabin this weekend and the Monk Season 2 DVD that we got from the library is due tomorrow, so we have to return it today although PigPig hasn't seen Mr. Monk Goes to Jail yet.

I'm so bored.

If ANYONE is reading this right now (Which is no one since PigPig's at a Twins game and no one else bothers to read my blog) Please come to Capitol Hill right now and confiscate the computer from me. I need to read Monk, so It's not late and I have to pay a fine, but I can't because I'm busy making SNOWFLAKES!!! It's ADDICTING. I was about to recommend that you go try it, but I take it back. Go outside! Have some fresh air! And anyway, It's September 2nd, I hope we don't get any snow.

I'm watching Monk. And you'll never believe it. He's having a panic attack. Well, that's the super-believable part. The un-believable part is that HE'S SWEATING! He's locked in a car with Dr. Kroger's son buried under a ton of gravel. It's Mr. Monk and the Buried Treasure. Just watch it on Hulu, 'cause I don't want to explain what's going on. Well, I'll tell you that they've been found. Safe and sound.

Yeah, so I was at my friend Gabby's today. We were going to go to the fair, but we didn't. Instead we hung out and read at Border's. Like, nobody I know thinks that it's fun to go to Border's or Barnes and Noble and just read. I think it's the best. Especially with the cafe.

I just got a new sweater. It's black and has an M on it. It's a hand-me-down from my cousin Maggie. (Get the M?)

Dang, Webisode #2 of Little Monk was even shorter than Webisode #1. It's Little Monk and the Business Boys. Now it's clear that the reason why Ambrose and Monk are doing mysteries at their school is so they can get everyone to say "Hi," to them.

Today is the first day of school for my mom. And so, I go to school with her. She is sitting in the Blue Atrium right now, in a meeting. A wonderful beautiful meeting. And these are my last days of summer!!! Well, it could be worse. CDH started today, so right now two of my cousins are sitting in class. Learning. IN SCHOOL! And my sister's been in school for a week now. Sigh, summer goes so fast. So I can not go on my Yahoo E-mail and I can go on my Gmail but it's really slow and I don't have any new mail anyway. RRG! And an Email I have been waiting for for a few days showed in the preview of my email but I CAN'T READ IT! So I went on Webkinz just for the fun of it. It was blocked. What kind of school blocks Webkinz? It's not like it's inappropriate or something! It's Webkinz, people! But I sort of expected that because the school blocks everything. Except that snowflake maker... I think I'll do that. But first I'm going to check out the Disher Corner on the Monk portion of the USA website. Check it!

Yard Sale

My sewing camp is over and I finished my night shirt. In the end K8's head hole was too small but it was fixed. And I never ended out hemming mine but I can do that at home.

So yesterday we had a yard sale. We had so much stuff to sell and so much left over afterwards. We didn't make much money either. And we lost a $50 bill somewhere. But it was pretty fun.

Then we watched Oklahoma. My mom got it from the library. It was.... weird. And hard to follow. I don't recommend it. It's a classic but.... not one worth seeing. The music is wonderful though.

I have good news and bad news.
Good News:
When we went to the library to get Oklahoma, we also got..... THE SECOND SEASON OF MONK!
Bad News:
I've seen every episode but one. Mr. Monk and the Three Pies. PigPig has seen every one but two: Mr. Monk and the Three Pies and Mr. Monk Goes to Jail. Mr. Monk Goes to Jail is one of my favorites. It's the season finale. In the end Dale the Whale (a really fat billionaire in jail with a luxurious cell) tells Monk that he can find some clues about the Trudy case in New York, and he goes off in a plane. Then, the season three premiere is Mr. Monk takes Manhattan where he's in New York. And if you know Monk, you know New York is not the place for him.

But now, I am reading the Monk books. At the moment: Mr. Monk is Miserable. He is so miserable because he is in Paris. How did he get there if he has such a terrible fear of planes and heights and other countries? Well, it starts in Mr. Monk Goes to Germany where he follows his therapist to Germany...

Sewing

This week my cousin K8 and I are doing a sewing camp. We're making night shirts. K8's is way too big though. And I'm way behind in my project. But we have to get up at 7:30!!!!! Which is early for summer for me. But the reason why we really like the camp is because we get to spend the entire week together. She stays for the entire day and do all sorts of things. Tomorrow we're going swimming in Lake Elmo with Amy and Leo!!! Finally!!!! I've been waiting to swim for so long! (In my new swim-suit.) Then on Thursday I'm going to the state fair with Sarah so K8's leaving after sewing. Then on Friday, we're going to see Bandslam! And meet Sa5m! Not really... but whatever. And Sa5m is played by..... Vanessa Hugens! Okay, just to clear things up, we're just seeing it because Vanessa Hugens is in it and we like making fun of her. Sorry if you like her, we just don't.

Roof

Now I'm obsessed with going on the roof of the garage. I've been on the roof of the house too but my parents don't like me being up there so much. the garage roof isn't that slanted but the house one is very steep. I want to just lie on the roof and read. but it's easier to get on the roof of the house. you just take the screen out of the upstairs window and climb out. But the garage is different. You have to get a fold out ladder to get the inclining ladder off of the ceiling then set it down on the ground then set it up then climb up then when your done you have to get out the other ladder so you can put back he inclining ladder. My dad doesn't like doing it over and over. So I don't get to do it that often. So I'll have to wait a while.

Little Monk

Okay, so last night Monk was on. He saw a UFO!!!! And a woman died in a hiking accident..... or was it MURDER????? Yeah, it was. Monk attracts murder. And then Shawn and Gus visited a fake cowboy town because of yes another MURDER!!! in Psych. (Yeah, I actually watch other shows.) Then I went online and watched the very first episode of..... LITTLE MONK! But it was really weird. The mystery was of the missing bracelet. It took him about 30 seconds to find it. (Figures, this is Monk we're talking about.) And apparently Ambrose didn't talk as a child. Now he's socially awkward and never leaves his house, but he doesn't seem to be the kind of guy who wouldn't talk. And in this episode he ATE A BIRD EGG!!!!! Definitely not Ambrose like. I don't think I'm going to like Little Monk as much as I thought I would. The actor did the hand thing wrong, and I definitely think that the actor in the Monk episode, Mr. Monk and Little Monk played Little Monk way better than the actor in Little Monk.

Here's a bunch of just random things that have happened in the past few days.

1. I found out who my teacher is, Ms. Simmonds!
2. I got a new swimsuit and we were supposed to go swimming today and Mr. Weather Guy predicted rain and voila! We have rain. No swimming.
3. I became obsessed with the word and the actual weapon of num-chucks.
4. I started hearing the word num-chucks when un-necessary.
5. I found out that there really is no word called "num-chucks" and what we thought were num-chucks were really called nun-chucks. (But what kind of nun uses num-chucks?)
6. I met my mom's new student teacher Kelly.
7. I got a pin number for the library so I can request things.
8. I biked back from the library and spilled a mango smoothie from DQ all over all of my books and my bag.
9. I became obsessed with making magnets out of bottle caps for my locker. (only caps from glass bottles.)
and 10. I found out that this Friday a new web-series called Little Monk premiers! It's a show about Adrian and his brother Ambrose Monk when they were kids!!!!

Two weeks ago the first episode. Of the last season. Of MONK PREMIRED!!!!! As you all know, I'm obsessed with Monk. (Somehow watching murder mysteries makes me feel at home.....) I'm really confused right now about how he's supposed to solve the Trudy case. (For you people that don't know about Monk, his wife was murdered in a car bomb) It's a long season but I still think that they should start leading up to him solving it. Because how can he NOT solve it????? Well, I have to go because my dad needs the computer so, I will talk about my obsession later.

BIKE

Hey peoples and persons! Yesterday I got a new BIKE. Yes. A BIKE. And do you want to know why? There are two reasons why! Because this is my frirst ever non-hand-me-down-bike (not including my little red tricycle) and because the one before my last one had purple butterflies on it and my last one said 'Pretty Lady' all over it. We went to Target and I was begining to think that there was no bike that fit me. I'm short and stuff but I'm at the age when I need handle breaks and stuff but I couldn't get ON half of those bikes! But finally I got one and I got over the fact that to me it was huge. But I think I should have gotten handle-breaks earlier because I can NOT get used to them. I took it around the park and at some point I forgot about them and accidentally went right through the street. Also I think they're a bit hard to pull. Half of the reason that they don't work as well is because I'm not used to them and the other half is they're just hard to work. My mom tried my bike out and even she who has had handle-break bikes for like 20 years said they were a bit difficult. I have to go get dressed so I can practice some more.

I finished my scarf! I just learned how to knit and I made a skinny scarf! Not like a scarf that you would use to keep warm on a winter's day, but one for style. So now, I'm stylin'! Yeah, I just had to say that. It was cotton yarn that many people thought was string. But it's cotton! Cotton! Sigh. But it's cool. I can also wear it as a belt. The belt way is also pretty frippin' (K8) awesome. I didn't really want to learn how to knit because it seems kind of... well something old ladies would do. But knitters can be funky! Alright I'm going to stop blogging now because I probably sound really cheesy right now. I'm not even going to read this because then I would completely delete this post but I think it's important that I don't.

I'm really sad because my neighbor's dog Kaji just had eye surgery and apparently they took out a tumor and he might have cancer. He is one of the sweetest dogs ever. He never jumps on people and right now he has to have a cone around his head so he doesn't scratch his eye. It's really sad because when he chases a ball and there's snow out his cone scrapes the snow. And he seems not to notice that he might die soon, but he does seem to notice that everyone around him is sad lately. And whenever I leave him he just looks at me like he thinks I don't like him and I don't like to play with him. I just hope he'll be OK.

Why Going Green is Something you should Do

Hey peoples and persons! I know possibly you might be thinking; Why is Me-Rox all obsessed with 'Going Green'? Well, for one thing I do not feel that I am necessarily obsessed. But the answer to your thinking question is pretty obvious; It is good for the Earth. But also you might be thinking But really, what will happen if you don't recycle and all of that? Well, the answer to that thinking question is a bit more complicated, but basicly the world might end before it was made to. And it is made to end much after you have died so you will not have to expirience what really will happen to the world. And I do not think that you want to expirience that so RECYCLE.

OMG my foot itches!!!! I was going to only say that, but I decided not to. My mom is watching The Closer and the Chief is getting married or something. I don't watch The Closer. I watch Monk! Which by the way is not on tonight which makes Friday nights different. This dude at my circus class said that Monk is a bad show. But that was just because I was obsessing over it. Yeah I'll admit it. I was playing a game of chess at chess club (everybody does chess club at my school. Well not everybody but it's not for geeks.) I was playing this kid that was reeeeaaaally freaking me out and I got a piece and I was holding it and then I dropped it and nearly every body's heads watched me because it was so loud. I dropped it because I just realized that there would be no Monk on tonight. I have to go change my word of the week. I forgot to do it last week so I'm going to keep this one here for a while.

Hey peoples and persons! Guess what? It wasn't the last Monk last night! When it ended there was a commercial that said there were 16 episodes left and it was Monk the Final Season and it was this summer. I'm kind of glad because they hardly did anything special in this one so it would have been a terrible way to end. So sorry if I made you guys believe that it was the last episode and all. Someone lead me to believe it was the last season.

I am saaaaaaaad peoples and persons!!! Why??? (or WHY???) Because tonight is the last episode of MONK!!!!!!! WWWWWAAAAAAAA!!!! *SOB SOB CRY CRY BAWL BAWL* And you know what's worse? My parents don't get to see it because they're going to a Graham Parker concert tonight. So I have a baby sitter. My cousin Ali. I was afraid that she wouldn't let me have PigPig over because she wants to see the last episode because she has started to like Monk, but apparently she is bringing a friend over with her too, so I think it's fair. But what I don't get is that I'm 11. 11-year-olds are aloud to take babysitting classes at the red cross. So why do I need a babysitter? Well, I guess it's better because my mom would never let me have PigPig over with no parents there because she would be afraid that we would burn the house down. How- how crazy is that?... I mean why-why-why would we do that? Huh... Ha... Yeah... *sweat sweat*

Going Green on Cities 97

Hey peoples and persons! The other day I was listening to Cities 97 on the radio like I do every morning, when they started talking about things that were green. First B.T. (As he calls himself) started talking about these "Green" roofs where you can grow plants in. In the roof! And it works as an insulator or something! Then Lee started talking about this dress made completely out of zippers. Zippers! And you can like totally alter the style by unzipping and zipping certain zippers! Here's a picture that I got off of her blog:

Isn't it cool! And those stripes: all zippers. Zippers! Wow. How many of you know people that could actually squeeze themselves into that dress though? Or get it not to look too big on them? I know it would be kind of big for me and would definitely not 'work the runway'. But it also is really good for the Earth to recycle the zippers and all. So here is another Going Green tip! And it kind of goes along with the one for the week. When printing out a project make sure you spellcheck it so you don't print it out then realize that you made a mistake and then print it out again and you might find that you made even another mistake. So yeah. Spellcheck it.

Hey peoples and persons! I would like to humbly congratulate Pebbles for translating my very small paragraph I have written in French about a French singer named Zazie. (ZA-zee. not A pronounced A like in apple but A as in the O sound in monOpoly.) You didn't get it completely correct like word by word Pebbles, but you were definitely close enough. I don't know what to give you so instead I will change my blog back to the old template because you wanted me to. A lot of people really liked my new one, but please, Pebbles earned it, don't complain. Although I'm going back to that template I'm going to change the green part on the top to a dark yellow and maybe tint the background color. Congratulations Pebbles!

Going Green

Hey peoples and persons! If any of you have been following K8, then you can see that she is being very committed to saving the Earth and Going Green lately. I am very much impressed. So I would like to give some going green tips every week and hopefully some peoples and persons will read them and take my advice. Also K8, Pebbles and I might be making a Going Green blog in the future so keep reading and if we do I will say so. The Depot

Hey peoples and persons! So today, I'm going to Circus (Circus Juventus DUH) and then my dad is going to take my mom and I to The Depot! No, not Home Depot. It's a hotel. We are going to meet our friends Amy and Leo there and then we are going swimming! They have a train in the little kid area and Leo loves it. He loves trains. (He's 5.) Then we will go to the game area and play games and win prizes. Then we will go back and probably watch a movie on my mom's computer and eat pizza that we ordered. Then in the morning we will have a buffet breakfast. Leo and I will be picked up by our dads (Amy is Leo's mom) but the ladies will stay one more day. Who knows how they will spend it. Hey peoples and persons! PigPig just said that she just realized that I always say that and I said "You just realized that that was my chatch frase???" And now she is complaining saying that's not what she said. And now she's complaining saying that she's not complaining.




I would now like to talk about.... THE WIGGLES!!!!! No seriously.

Okay, so notice the guy in the yellow shirt. That's Greg. The Red one is Murray, the blue one is Anthony and the purple one is Jeff. He falls asleep alot. (What? I was sick on friday and there was nothing on TV and they said their names in the credits!) Anyways, back to Greg. When I saw the Wiggles on TV on friday, Greg looked different. He wasn't Greg! And in the credits it said his name was Sam! I told my dad about it and he said that it was something about he wanted to get paid more and his boss said no so he quit. Greg is the only one who doesn't really have a brittish accent, but I think he was forced to sing in one to blend in with the other singers or something. That's just my guess. And now I have the Wiggles song stuck in my head. "Wiggle! And Learn!" ANTHONY: "Let's have some. Let's have some. Let's have some fun!" Anthony has a really low voice and he looks kind of like Tom Hanks in my opinion.

I was going to do an interview with PigPig now, but she just left so I'm going to do an interview with my mom and dad in the next post.

MOVIES

Hey so my dad and I were watching this movie and this boy's mom passed out or something and the train was coming and then we turned the channel. Now we're watching Stuart Little I think and the cats just fell into the water. Except for Snowball. Poor cats. It's just their nature to go after mice. So the cats fall in the water and their leader meets some dogs. Poor poor poor cat. Except for Snowball. But he's cute and smart and reliable. Now Snowball is meowing. Meow meow mew. We let our cats out today. They liked it! That's a sign that spring is almost here! The groundhog saw his shadow. That doesn't mean anything! I have shadows in the spring! I think we wont have 3 or 4 more weeks of winter. I disagree with ole Phil. (He's the groundhog) Now my dad is vacuuming. It smells bad and it's loud.

That was ODD... well anyways, right now we're watching the MATT LOWER NOT AL ROKER interview with Barack Obama and then we will go to my grand parents house and watch the SUPER BOWL!!!

WHY??? did I think Al Roker was interviewing Barack Obama when it really was Matt Lower?
WHY??? are these people counting down to the Super Bowl for 5 hours?
WHY??? am I making all of these WHY??? questions?

Super Bowl

Hey peoples and persons! Today is the Super Bowl! I'm going to go to my grandparents house and I'm probably going to blog more and keep the peoples and persons updated. I can't wait for the 3D commercials! They're going to be before half time just in case your wondering. But personally, I don't know why everybody is making such a big deal when the Super Bowl wont start for 5 hours. They had John Legend and they were saying "We're going to be counting down to Super Bowl XLIII." It's like New Years Eve! Or Obama's inauguration! Speaking of which, soon Al Roker will be interviewing Barack Obama before the game.Here is a Super Bowl fact: The Packers won the very first Super Bowl. Yes. That's Super Bowl I smarty pantses. Go Packers! I'm not really rooting for anybody today. Last year I rooted for the Bears but then one year later I developed another football nemeses who roots for the Bears. I don't get it. Whenever someone hates the Packers they expect me to hate their team. Like, I don't hate the Vikings just because I like the Packers. They're like my second favorite team. Whoa my whole post just mixed it's self up! Well I fixed it. As you can kind of see. Now Dwayne Johnson is on TV with Al Roker. They're talking about this new movie called Race to Witch Mountain. Ugh it doesn't seem very good personally. Apparently this is a remake of Escape to Witch Mountain or something. I hate remakes. They're just so.... unorigianal. Now the NBC people who talk at football games are talking and they have Gatorade. That's probably not spelled right but whatever.
